About Josephine
I am a 55 year old woman with a keen eye for interior design and architecture. I have spent many years with work experience students who have gone on to become architects and interior designers. My portfolio and experience covers architecture and interior design for many building types from public buildings, workplace, residential, commercial retail and churches. I thoroughly enjoy passing on what I have learnt through the years from many other professionals and clients within the interior and architecture industries. It should be said that my favourite architect is Pierre Chareau who ventured into many areas of design within his work. I keep up to date with the latest materials and technologies associated with design and I also work as an artist with a special interest of Art into Architecture, Environmental Design and Graphics. I love teaching young people and seeing their successes.

I take a brief orientated approach to helping students and professionals with their projects/portfolios, often unexpected areas of design to look into and include within their projects such as environmental, landscape, Art into Architecture, Lighting design and materials, using a holistic approach to design and place making. I will take a brief from the student as well as critique of work to date and enhancement of the scope and project proposal. I see our lessons as a discussion where all questions are considered with a view to enhancing the students' abilities in presentation, answering the brief and proposals as well as additional proposals for a more cohesive design. I will provide relevant feedback, links to source materials and imagery and help the student to unlock difficult projects with a view to enhancing their own capabilities.
