About Umar
I have experience of teaching and tutoring for nearly five years. I have taught in higher education and college sector.
I have taught students from 20 to 30 in classrooms. They were first year degree students.
My learners have achieved high marks in their exams.
I like to train the learners to become independent, disciplined learners. Using 21st century skills in classroom is very important for their future development.

My lesson is structured with a warm up to engage the learners for the theme of the lesson. Then I get them to participate in group based activities and pair work.
I like to use technology for blended learning. In the past I designed online quizzes, students were able to complete them using their smartphones.
Each lesson I like the learner to feel sense of achievement, which is important for their development.
I like to use course material and supplementary worksheets. My methodology is to guide the learner to self discovery.
