About Jayden
I’ve always been fascinated by history and the stories of the past, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help others unlock that same interest. Teaching allows me to share my enthusiasm and to guide students through the complexities of history in a way that is both engaging and accessible. I believe in empowering students to think critically, develop their own viewpoints, and gain the confidence they need to excel in their studies. My approach is to make history relatable and enjoyable, helping students see its relevance to the world today.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology My lessons focus on developing critical thinking, essay writing, and source analysis skills. I break down complex historical concepts into clear, structured discussions, tailoring lessons to each student's needs. Using past exam questions, model answers, and interactive discussions, I help students build confidence and master exam techniques. Typical Length of a Lesson Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, but longer or shorter sessions can be arranged based on student needs. Qualifications and Experience I am a History student at the University of Cambridge, and achieved a First in my first year. I also earned a Grade 9 in GCSE History. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students, helping them improve their analytical skills, essay structure, and historical argumentation. My academic background provides me with a strong understanding of historical debates and methodologies, which I integrate into my teaching. Who the Lessons Are For I teach GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities, from those looking to boost their grades to high-achieving students aiming for top marks. My lessons are ideal for students who want to improve their essay structure, argumentation, and historical analysis in preparation for exams.
