About Fred
With over forty years of teaching experience and a Master's Degree from Oxford University, I know how to respond to a wide variety of learning needs with grace and humility. I've worked with many special education classes, gifted and alternative programs, and autism spectrum students. My passion for string game storytelling grew from the conviction that ambidextrous hand-eye coordination is the most powerful route to brain development and self-directed, lifelong learning. Playing a two-handed musical instrument brings many of the same benefits but takes much longer to achieve proficiency!
