About Evelyn
I am a permanent certified Spanish teacher in the State of New York and have had Florida Certification and taught in Dade County-New York area for more than 22 years.
I speak languages as a native and have successfully taught multilevel and multicultural students in the public and private schools. My students acquired the skills in the target language and were able to communicate , read and write successfully in the language

I have taught Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew and English as a Second Language in various capacities: from grade 7-12, to college students as well as adults.
Having had to learn English as a foreign language and many other languages myself, I am able to identify the areas of difficulties that the student encounters in learning the target language and facilitate techniques for successful language acquisition
I utilize the board, illustrations and try to share materials that will help the student master the concepts without utilizing translation.
Through repetition, student participation and interaction, skills will be mastered.
There is always the aim of the lesson and a summary. also additional exercises to reinforce the skills taught before moving ahead
