About Alison

I am a certified Chinese teacher, a writer, and a book translator. I have a Master's degree in education and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Teaching has always been my passion. I customize my lesson plan according to student's learning styles and goals. I am currently a part-time Mandarin teacher in a language school and a high school. About the lesson

Instruct heritage and non-heritage students from middle and high school to working adults.
- Create lesson plans using the 5 Cs of Foreign Language Standard (Communication, Culture, Connections, Comparison, Community)
- Attend Professional Development seminars yearly to acquire the latest innovative teaching tools and skills.
- Incorporate various teaching methods to build an engaging, collaborative, student-centered learning community to extend students' learning.
