About Eabha

Hi, I'm Éabha, a music graduate based in Dún Laoghaire with a passion for singing and a genuine love of working with children. For my favorite type of music, I love rock, pop, and musical theater!

I hold a First Class Honors degree in New Media and Music Industry from IADT Dún Laoghaire, and I have spent several years singing in choirs, which gave me a solid foundation in vocal technique, musicality, and performing with confidence.

I believe every child has a voice worth developing, and my goal
in every lesson is to make singing feel joyful and achievable rather than daunting. I am patient, encouraging, and experienced in adapting to the energy and pace of each individual child. I take my students' progress seriously and always come to lessons prepared and focused.

I am based in Dún Laoghaire and offer in-person lessons only, so you can be assured of a consistent, face-to-face learning experience for your child. I am fully committed to creating a safe, positive, and fun environment where young singers can grow in skill and confidence at their own pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for children who are curious about singing, whether they are complete beginners or have a little experience already. Sessions run between 30 minutes and one hour depending on the child's age and attention span, and I am happy to work with parents to find the right length.

My approach is relaxed and encouraging. I focus on building confidence first, because children learn best when they feel comfortable and are actually enjoying themselves. In a typical lesson we might work on breathing and posture, explore how the voice works, learn a song the child loves, and play games that develop pitch and rhythm without it feeling like hard work. No two lessons look exactly the same, because every child is different.

I have a BA in New Media and Music Industry from IADT Dún Laoghaire, which gave me a strong grounding in music history, the music business, and how the industry works. Alongside my studies I sang in choirs for a number of years, developing my ear, my vocal technique, and my understanding of performance. I have experience working with children informally and know how to keep young learners engaged and motivated.

These lessons are best suited to children roughly aged 5 to 12, though I am open to inquiries outside that range. If you are looking for a warm, patient tutor who will make your child feel excited about singing rather than pressured, I would love to hear from you.
