About Kathleen
I have a BA (hons) in Literature and Creative Writing and a Masters Degree in Creative Writing. I am experienced in teaching workshops for children aged 8 to 18 and I also tutor GCSE literature on a one to one basis.

For Literature I use a variety of teaching methods including discussion, worksheets, and digital media.
For creative writing I use prompts such as historical photography, mindmapping words, character analysis, acrostic poetry and animé. I allow my writers time and space to develop their prose, poetry or hybrid forms while gently guiding structure, narrative arc , dialogue and setting.
