About James

My name is James Lawson and I thank you for viewing my profile. I have been a secondary school teacher for over 27 years and have a wealth of experience. My expertise is in Physical Education and I always try to make learning fun, engaging and above all easy to understand. I have a proven record of helping children achieve amazing GCSE and A-level examination results. I help to prepare students for the rigour of KS5 and university. I have a Sport Science degree and a postgraduate teaching certificate and have always loved to make human biology, anatomy and physiology simple to understand, whatever the topic or concept. If you have any tricky concepts or just simply topics you don't understand yet, I can help you achieve your goals, regain your confidence and above all boost your potential.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I feel I can make a real difference to a child's learning by focusing exclusively on their individual needs. I aim to help students fulfil their potential by teaching them in a patient, supportive, enthusiastic, fun and engaging way. I have a wealth of teaching experience, use a wide range of teaching strategies and engaging resources that cater for different learning styles.
