About Amy
Hi! I’m a dedicated elementary educator with three years of full-time classroom teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Teaching. Beyond the classroom, I’ve also worked as an Executive Functioning Coach with Pediatric Learning Assessment and Support (PALS), where I helped students build practical, everyday skills like organization, time management, task initiation, and self-regulation. I’ve taught reading, writing, and math to diverse learners, and I love helping elementary-aged students grow not just academically, but in confidence and independence. I understand that every child learns differently, and I take the time to get to know each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and highly personalized. Whether your child needs help strengthening reading fluency, improving writing skills, building math confidence, or developing executive functioning strategies that support success both in and out of school, lessons are always tailored to their individual needs. I believe learning should feel encouraging—not stressful. I’m also a certified yoga instructor, and I enjoy incorporating simple mindfulness strategies to help students feel calm, focused, and confident while learning. My goal is to support the whole child, celebrate progress big and small, and help students feel proud of what they can accomplish.
