About Jeevan
I am an experienced English Literature and Language teacher with a strong track record of delivering excellent academic outcomes across KS3 to A Level. Most recently working as an Academic Support Teacher and English specialist, I provide targeted one-to-one and small group tuition designed to both support students who are struggling and stretch those aiming for top grades.
My teaching is underpinned by extensive experience with AQA and Pearson Edexcel specifications, as well as a deep understanding of effective exam technique and curriculum demands. I have consistently helped students improve their performance, including achieving a 90% pass rate with GCSE resit students and securing grades 7–9 for more able learners.
I hold a BA in Law from City, University of London, completed alongside a competitive solicitor apprenticeship, which reflects my strong academic discipline, organisation, and professionalism. This background also informs my structured and analytical teaching style, particularly in essay writing and critical thinking.
I have significant experience working with students with SEND, including SEMH needs, and I adapt my approach to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and confident in their abilities. Building positive relationships is central to my teaching, and I pride myself on creating a calm, focused environment where students can make meaningful progress.
Alongside my academic teaching, I have a strong record of mentoring and pastoral support, including UCAS guidance, personal statement preparation, and extracurricular leadership. I am fully committed to maintaining high professional standards in every lesson and delivering tuition that is both engaging and results-driven.

I am a dedicated and experienced English Literature and Language specialist offering high-quality tuition for students from KS3 to A Level in London and online.
With a proven track record of raising attainment, I have successfully supported students who previously struggled with English to achieve GCSE passes (including a 90% pass rate for resit students), while also helping high-achieving students secure top grades (7–9). My teaching is tailored, structured, and focused on building both confidence and exam success.
I bring classroom and one-to-one tutoring experience from leading schools, including my current role as an Academic Support Teacher (English Specialist), where I deliver targeted interventions and extension work. I have in-depth knowledge of AQA and Pearson Edexcel specifications at both GCSE and A Level.
