As a dedicated and experienced tutor with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from UBC, I am passionate about helping students explore the beauty of language. My teaching approach is highly personalized, adapting to each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style. Whether we are working on improving writing skills, expanding vocabulary, or enhancing oral expression, my goal is to foster creativity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of English.
I use a variety of teaching techniques to engage students, including interactive discussions, creative writing exercises, and tailored reading assignments. I encourage active participation and critical thinking, ensuring that each session is both enriching and enjoyable. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, but I remain flexible to accommodate individual learning needs and pacing.
With years of experience working with students of all ages and levels, I am comfortable teaching a wide range of learners—from younger students just beginning their language journey to high school and university students looking to refine their writing or prepare for exams. My lessons are designed for anyone looking to improve their English skills, whether for academic, professional, or personal growth.
