About Tom
I've been teaching English for over 20 years mainly in the UK, but also in France and Germany. I have taught all levels, from beginners through to advanced, exam classes and business English. I am passionate about the English language and English speaking culture. A language is a living, breathing thing and needs to be respected as such. It is important to be able to communicate in whatever language you are learning and this opens up wonderful opportunities to learn more about the people, the culture and what makes that country/those countries tick.

Excellent! He was very understanding that we have family illness, and was happy to reschedule the first lesson for free.
Deadly! Tom has a good grasp of understanding what a student need. Excellent instructions on what to learn, always organised and on time for the next meeting. So far I feel very happy with his guidance on what do I need to learn in order to get better at business English in writing and in speaking. Thank you!
