About Matt
I have taught at various schools for more than a decade. My students and I have always got along swimmingly , as I try hard to make things as relevant and entertaining as possible.
I firmly believe that it is the teacher's responsibility to not only disseminate knowledge, wisdom and information, but also to find a way to grab and hold the students' attention.

Lessons can be between 45 min and an hour and a half, depending on the requirements.
My specialisation is with Key Stage 3 (Ages 11 - 16) , but am able to assist at all school levels.
I like to tailor my lessons to suit the learning style of the person I am assisting. This involves dynamic adaptation as the student and I get to know one another.
Keeping a casual atmosphere with a fun tone is, in my opinion, absolutely essential to keep a younger student engaged.
Finally, creating clear goals at the beginning allow us to gauge the success of lessons over time.
