About Shalini
I am an IGCSE graduate and currently a college student at UOW KDU. I completed my schooling journey at the age of 16 and began my higher education early. I previously studied at Disted College, where I started my A Levels, before making the decision to transfer and pursue a Diploma at UOW KDU.
In IGCSE, I studied English as a Second Language, Physical Education, Biology, Chemistry, Business Studies, Global Perspectives, First Language Bahasa Malaysia, and Core Mathematics. This strong academic background has given me a solid understanding of different subjects, especially English.
This is my first experience as a tutor, and I am excited to begin this journey. I aim to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students feel comfortable, gain confidence, and actually enjoy learning English while improving their skills step by step.

I believe English lessons should be simple, engaging, and enjoyable. I can make my classes interactive and fun to help students stay interested while improving their confidence in speaking, writing, reading, and grammar. I explain topics in an easy-to-understand way and adjust my teaching style based on each student’s level and learning pace.
My lessons usually last 1–2 hours and include exercises, discussions, vocabulary practice, and exam-style questions to make learning more effective.
I completed my IGCSE and I am currently a college student, so I understand the challenges students face and can relate to them well.
My lessons are suitable for primary school, secondary school, and IGCSE Second Language English students who want to improve their English skills and enjoy learning the subject.
