About Lola
I am a teacher who from the moment that I started tutoring, I realized that I truly enjoy the looks of pride and accomplishment my students feel when they advance their learning and literacy skills. I have been a tutor for more than 3 years and I have a strong passion for the English language which I have loved since a young age.
The same way that mathematics and problem solving come easily to some people is the same way English comes easily to me and I've always enjoyed sharing my interest in the English language with the world, so what better way is there than teaching it? With me as your tutor, you know you are in safe hands as my biggest accomplishments are in your confidence to engage with the skills of literacy.

My lesson plans consist of identifying the learning objectives based on the specific curriculum for each individual student. The methodology and techniques employed here are those of active learning and objective outcomes. the typical length of a lesson is 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes to ensure I never lose the attention of any student as I typically work well with middle school and high school students, therefore concentration is key to ensure the best learning outcome.
