About Lesia

I know what it feels like to learn English in theory and then have to actually live your life in it. Since moving to the UK, I’ve been using English every day, and I believe that gives me a practical perspective on teaching it.

I’ve been teaching children and adults for over five years, both in the classroom and online. I’ve worked as an English tutor with Skyeng and also taught English at school. I hold a BA in Education, and I’m currently studying for my Master’s degree.

I speak English, Ukrainian and Russian, and I genuinely enjoy helping students get past the fear of making mistakes and start speaking more naturally. I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they started.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around the student, not around a fixed script. I like to understand what you actually want to improve, whether that’s speaking more confidently, understanding grammar, expanding vocabulary or simply feeling less nervous when using English.

I’ve been teaching for over five years and have worked with both children and adults, in the classroom and online, including as an English tutor with Skyeng. I also taught English to my Year 3 class and hold a BA in Education with a foreign language specialism.

I keep lessons practical, clear and relaxed, and I adapt the pace and materials to your level and goals. My aim is not just to help you “know” English, but to make you feel comfortable actually using it.
