About Irina
My name is Irina, and I’m an ESL teacher with a B.A. in Teaching English and Spanish and advanced TEFL/TESOL training. I’ve taught adults and professionals from different fields for several years. In class I’m calm, friendly, and a bit of a language nerd—I love explaining things clearly and cheering you on. I listen carefully, adapt to your personality, and create a relaxed atmosphere where you can make mistakes, laugh, and still make real progress in English. Attention! In my lessons we start with clear goals and build a simple plan for you.
I use communicative, task-based activities, so you speak from the first class: role plays, small tasks, and real situations from your work or studies.
A typical lesson has a short warm-up, vocabulary and grammar in context, and lots of speaking with gentle correction and pronunciation help. I use digital tools like Miro and Quizlet to keep lessons visual and interactive.
I teach motivated adults and professionals in IT, oil and gas, banking, business, and science who need practical English for real life.
Your comfort is very important in my lessons, so you can choose to study with your camera on or off.
