About Jules
I am an experienced tutor with three years of experienced !
I was a private tutor in Paris for two years. I was able to help children and teenagers through their learning journey in english, literature and philosophy, as well as with their homeworks (primary school children).
After finishing my bachelor's degree in french literature and my first year of Master, I decided to take a gap year. I worked at the University of British Columbia (Kelowna) as a linguistic teacher assistant. I helped the teachers with their classes, taught my own classes (phonetic), and tutored many wonderful students.
I have also experience working with neuro-atypical (ADHD, autism, anxiety...) children, teenagers and adults. I acquired this experience in UBC but also by volunteering in a horse-therapy center for a year in Kelowna ! So, feel free to tell me if you need any accommodations !

For me, anxiety or fear of failure is the first obstacle during the learning process. That's why during my sessions, I want to built a fun and safe environment so that my students learn, while gaining self-confidence.
> What I do :
- Homeworks (primary / middle school)
- Writing / expression (A1 to C2) : syntax, grammar, spelling, vocabulary...
- Methodology (B1 to C2) : how to write a well-structured essay !
- Oral expression (A1 to C2) : improve your verbal and non-verbal expression in french !
- Conversation in french (A1 to C2) : learn some vocabulary while talking about different topics !
- Phonetic (B2) : learn how to pronounce french properly with phonetic tools !
