About Noémie
My name is Noémie, I’m 28 and I am an FSL teacher. I have a diploma of Linguistics and French didactic from the universities of Grenoble Alpes and Montpellier.
My job allowed me to live in very different places in the world such as Cebu in the Philippines or Winnipeg in Canada.
After the South Asian tropical heat and the coldness of arctic icy wind, I’ve found a happy medium in the great city of Bristol in the UK where I’ve been living for the past three years. Now, my main occupation is to provide 1:1 private french lessons specially adapted to your needs.
Oh and do not worry, my French grammar is way better than my English’s !

Because every student is different and have a different feeling about learning a new language, I am flexible in my way of teaching : you won’t have to adapt to me. I’ll have to adapt to you.
I am paying close attention to your needs and plan the lesson depending on your goals, that is if you need to improve your conversational skills, I’ll make you speak as much as possible, if you need to review some grammar point, we will work on it and if you’ve planned to go skiing, we’ll go through the vocabulary of vacations in the mountains. Plus, as you speak, I'll identify your most common mistakes to help you with.
Most people like to have 1h lessons but 1h30 and 2h are also makeable on a weekly basis or every fortinight.
Even though learning a foreign language requires personal work, I’ll try my best to maintain a kindly, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Plus, you’ll see that with my subtle and fine sense of humor, you won’t even feel you’re working!
