About Lydia
I love teaching French and seeing my students overcome the barriers to learning a second language and succeeding. As an experienced Secondary school teacher, I'm friendly, approachable and passionate about what I do. I deliver high-quality tutoring tailored to each of my student's goals and needs. My work experience includes teaching French & Mandarin across China and Australia. I have over 10 years' experience teaching French specifically and now specialize in teaching IB French. I consistently receive great feedback from both students and parents and ensure that lines of communication are always open so that students feel they can speak out when they don't understand to ensure they get the most out of their tutoring sessions. In my spare time, I love to be outdoors, either hiking or swimming.

My tutoring service includes an initial discovery call (FOC) in which I pull together a personalized study plan for 1:1 lessons should you choose to proceed with dedicated tuition.
Lessons include exam-specific resources, exam strategy, marking & feedback. Progress is tracked closely and meaningful and targeted feedback is given every lesson.
