About Arleen

Hello! I’m Arleen, a French tutor with a year of dedicated experience in teaching A1-level French. About the lesson

Teaching approach - It is centered around interactive learning, aiming to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to participate and ask questions. For A1-level French, I focus on building a strong foundation by introducing vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation basics. Lessons are designed to be conversational, so students can practice speaking and listening in a natural, engaging way.

Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-up (5-10 mins): We start with a review of previous material through a quick quiz or conversational practice.
2. New Vocabulary & Grammar (20 mins): I introduce a new set of vocabulary and grammar rules. We explore each word or rule with examples and context.
3. Interactive Practice (15 mins): Students practice by forming sentences, engaging in dialogue, or completing interactive exercises.
4. Listening & Speaking (10 mins): I play audio examples and guide students to repeat phrases for pronunciation practice.
