About Blanche
I’m an experienced tutor with a 1:1 BA English Literature Degree, and an MA in Victorian Studies. I’ve extensive experience working as a private tutor for agencies, as well as working on a self-employed basis, and working in London schools.

I like to take a friendly, informal approach in my teaching so students don’t feel pressure and achieve success through genuine subject enjoyment. By installing a passion for literature in my students, results are achieved because students become genuinely enthusiastic and motivated. I am a positive, fun and passionate about my subject and I aim to transfer this attitude to my students. By choosing sources that are relevant to my students interests, they become engaged with English and English Literature, acquiring skills that are vital not just for exam taking, but for future success in life.
