About Ria
Hi, I’m Ria. I am an English tutor and I recently completed A-Level English Literature.
English is often seen as a subject that isn't formulaic and students naturally struggle with structuring their answers. I was in the same boat when preparing for my English GCSE but after years of practice, I discovered techniques that really elevated my exam performance, allowing me to come out with Grade 9s in both English Literature and English Language.
I have worked closely with Year 10 and 11 students, who have improved by one to two grades through the clear guidance and exam-focused techniques I provided.
I truly believe the mentoring I provide will help improve your skills, enable you to write with clarity and achieve higher grades in GCSE English

I recently completed A-Level English Literature, so I understand exactly how to develop ideas into strong, high-level answers. Many students struggle with analysis and developing top-band interpretations (A02), so my approach focuses on breaking these skills down into simple, manageable steps to help you secure higher grades. I also share successful exam strategies and techniques that are not always taught in the classroom, making your writing more impressive!
