About Anna

Skilled and passionate teacher, with specialized knowledge and skills in a variety of different subjects including: English, German, Vocal Training, Piano/Keyboard Training, Mathematics and most school subjects. I am constantly developing more teaching skills through learning and different courses to help students develop themselves and their skills to the best of their abilities. I am a strong leader with significant teaching experience who excels in cultivating and maintaining relationships, can adapt to any situation and has experience in overcoming and addressing barriers in the teaching environment.

About the lesson

My main aim in teaching students is to get them to understand what they are learning instead of just teaching the information. My lessons therefore include many eliciting questions to allow the student to get to the answers themselves. I am able to teach in both Afrikaans and English and also have advanced knowledge of the German language and basic knowledge of the Portuguese language.

Stephanie is a hard-working student who only needed a little bit of help to prepare for her B1 Goethe exam. She applied what was taught to her very well and it showed in her exam results. I really enjoyed working with her and hope to do so in the future again.
