About Phoebe
Hi! I'm a native German speaker who grew up in Germany but moved to the UK to do my undergrad in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Oxford University, which I just graduated with First Class Honours. Before that I went to a German-English bilingual secondary school in Hamburg, Germany, where I studied German and English to higher level and graduated top of my year. I've worked as a German and English tutor for years and would like to help you improve your German!

I tailor my methodology to your needs - we will create a plan depending on what your needs are, and what areas you want to improve in. For example, I can help with generally improving your spoken and written German, or we can prepare you for a school, university or language exam. I can also help with improving your accent, fluency and security, as well as literary analysis, essay writing and style. Depending on your level, we can do our lessons entirely in German or using a mix of the two languages.
