About Alvarez
Hello! My name is Ulises, and I am a passionate online language educator with a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Language Teaching from the Universidad de Colima. In addition, I hold professional TESOL and TEYL certifications, which fully qualify me to teach English effectively to learners of all ages, including young learners and adults. Throughout my professional journey, I have worked across multiple online educational platforms, guiding students from diverse backgrounds and levels toward fluency with patience, empathy, and a dynamic approach. My primary goal is to create a safe, motivating environment where my students can overcome the fear of speaking, build lasting confidence, and achieve their language goals through personalized guidance. I look forward to helping you on your learning journey!

My Teaching Approach
As an experienced online language tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Language Teaching and professional TESOL and TEYL certifications, I believe that learning a language should be dynamic, interactive, and tailored to each individual. My approach focuses on practical communication, building confidence from day one, and creating a supportive, low-stress environment where students feel encouraged to speak.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every lesson is structured around your specific goals. We typically start with a brief warm-up conversation to get comfortable, review previous concepts or address immediate questions, move into targeted vocabulary, grammar, or conversational practice using engaging digital tools, and wrap up with a summary and actionable feedback for practice before our next session.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are designed for learners of all levels—from young learners starting their language journey to adults looking to improve fluency, master professional communication, or prepare for specific goals.
What Sets Me Apart
With years of online tutoring experience, I combine a formal academic background in language pedagogy with patient, personalized guidance that adapts to how you learn best.
