My approach for helping with essay writing is supportive, structured, and efficient. I begin by identifying each student’s goals—whether it’s improving grammar, strengthening arguments, or organizing ideas—and then tailor lessons to target those areas. I teach strategies for outlining, developing strong thesis statements, improving flow and clarity, and properly integrating evidence.
A typical lesson may involve reviewing a draft, brainstorming content, working through a writing prompt together, or focusing on specific areas like transitions, citations, or tone. I also provide written feedback and teach revision strategies so students can become confident, independent writers over time.
