About Jimmy
My name is Jimmy Evans, originally from Aylesbury, Bucks but now live and perform in Nottingham. I am a trained secondary music teacher and I have been a primary school class teacher for the last 6 years. I have been teaching the guitar and bass guitar privately for the last 10 years, I love seeing my students progress into fantastic musicians. I recently performed with all of my students at Rough Trade Nottingham with my band. It was an experience I will never forget. The next one is in March.

I have been teaching guitar for over ten years. I will tailor each lesson to your needs. We can learn whatever song you would like to learn. If you’d like to do grades, I will support you through that. I am a gigging musician and also a primary school teacher. My youngest student is 4 years old and my oldest is over 60. I support each of my students and encourage them to be the best musician they can be.
