About Harwin

Graduating from the University of Nottingham with a BA Hons in History, I`m incredibly passionate about inspiring a generation of new thinkers. Education can be a powerful tool to by which to do this, and I believe that in order to succeed at learning we also need to support our students to understand HOW to learn. Education can unlock potential and inspire creativity. It is the perfect tool to help us take a step to move onto the next stage of our journey. Lao Tsu said that `if you give a hungry man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.`

I am a Tutor, Mentor and Coach. I have been tutoring for over 4 years.

I support my students by Tutoring them in History and Psychology, working at their pace to develop their skillset and achieve the results they are hoping for. I work alongside the student to build up both their knowledge and confidence in their subject area. I also help my students build up vital skills within the subject area to improve their communication, for example essay writing skills, source analysis and so on.

I`m also a qualified Life Coach. Coaching for me is a powerful tool by which we can empower our clients to take action within their lives and create real long-lasting change. My coaching space is a non-judgemental, safe and opens space to explore various aspects life in a way that the client feels will be most useful. Within the Coaching space I work with both young people and adults in a 1 to 1 setting to improve their wellbeing, harness a positive mindset and build the future that best serves them.
