About Diana
Hello! I'm Diana, a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience guiding students of all ages through reading, writing, and critical thinking. With a BFA in 3D/VFX Computer Arts and a rich background in homeschooling my three sons, I’ve developed a flexible, student-centered approach that meets learners exactly where they are.
I’ve taught in both home and classroom settings, worked with students who have learning differences, and helped young writers find their voice and confidence. My teaching style is clear, encouraging, and always focused on building lasting understanding—not just getting through assignments.

As a tutor, I bring the patience and adaptability of a homeschooling mom who has successfully taught three boys with different learning styles—including one with ADHD and processing challenges. I specialize in English language arts, reading comprehension, and essay writing for students in grades 3–12, but I also support adults returning to school or learning English as a second language.
My approach is centered around encouragement, clarity, and connection. I tailor every lesson to the student’s needs, blending structure with flexibility. A typical session includes reviewing goals, breaking down concepts into manageable steps, practicing through discussion or writing exercises, and finishing with a confidence-building review. I use creative tools like visual aids, storytelling, and real-world examples to make learning memorable and meaningful.
