About Snethemba
I am a BEd educator from Umlazi, Durban. My journey started in second year at Inhlakanipho High teaching Grade 8-9 Social Sciences, then Mzuvele High (2022) with Grade 10-11 History and Grade 9 IsiZulu, and Umlazi Commercial High where I did my final practice in 2023 and returned as Assistant Educator on 2 June 2025.
Today I teach Grade 9 IsiZulu, Life Orientation, Social Sciences and Grade 10-11 IsiZulu, I mark Grade 12 and invigilate matric exams.
I teach because I was once that learner who needed someone to explain in IsiZulu first before English. When my Grade 9 learner at Mzuvele moved from Level 2 to Level 5 in IsiZulu, I knew this is my calling.
Teaching is not a job for me — it is Ubuntu. I stay after class, I make videos, I open WhatsApp groups at 20:00 to answer questions because I know what it feels like to be stuck the night before a test.
I want to see Umlazi children pass, go to university, and come back to help others.
Let me be your tutor, not just for marks, but for confidence.

I am not just a tutor – I have been inside the classroom as a student teacher and as an Assistant Educator at Umlazi Commercial High since June 2025. I know exactly where Grade 8-11 learners fail in IsiZulu and Social Sciences because I marked Grade 12 and invigilated finals.
I don't just give notes – I teach in IsiZulu first, then English, so you understand, not memorise. I create WhatsApp groups, share videos, do extra classes, and I stay with you until you pass.
If you got Level 3, I will take you to Level 5. Traceable references from 3 high schools: Miss Mkhonza (Umlazi Commercial), Miss Gina (Mzuvele) and Mr Chule (Inhlakanipho).
