About Robyn

My passion for History and Politics has shaped my teaching career over the past six years in the classroom and eight years as a dedicated tutor. I have taught across a wide range of qualifications, including Higher and Advanced Higher History in Scotland, AQA GCSE and A‑Level History, and Edexcel A‑Level Politics. Working in independent and private school settings has given me a deep understanding of how to support students with varied learning styles and academic goals.
I am committed to helping students build strong analytical skills, deepen their subject knowledge, and develop the confidence needed to excel in their examinations. My students consistently achieve between A–C grades, reflecting both their hard work and the structured, personalised approach I bring to every lesson.
Whether preparing for exams, strengthening essay technique, or building wider political understanding, my aim is to motivate, challenge, and inspire students to reach—and often surpass—their potential.
