About Divya

• Currently, I am studying the Bar Training course at BPP University, London. I was able to secure two prestigious scholarships: The Advocacy Scholarship and the Career Commitment Scholarship. This was awarded for my strong potential to become a successful lawyer.

• In July 2023, I graduated from Cardiff University with a qualifying LLB. Interestingly, in my penultimate year of law school, I ranked in the top 10%.

• During my time at Cardiff University, I won the inter-school mooting competition (2021-2022).

About the lesson

WHY SHOULD I BE SELECTED AS YOUR TUTOR?

• I am an experienced tutor, and I have been teaching for three years. Not only have I spent over 175 hours on Tutorful, but I have also billed over 100 hours externally. LLB modules, A-level law and other A-level humanities subjects such as English literature and history are all within the ambit of my expertise.

• All students in my 2021, 2022 and 2023 A-level cohort secured A* - B grades. Likewise, all students in my LLB cohort of 2023 achieved at least a low 2. i (60-64%). Some made significant improvements going from a 3rd to a 1st!

• Each lesson will be tailored to the tutees. This means we will focus on either content, exam skills or even both. Whatever is essential for the student’s success.

• If required, I can also integrate commercial awareness and key practical skills into the lessons. Commercial awareness and practical skills are instrumental assets to secure work experience and/or scholarships.

• I will also go above and beyond for my students. For those requiring help with exam skills, I set essays and mark them for you if requested after every lesson with no costs attached!

• When teaching the substantive content, I ensure the tutee understands the links between topics and the fine details. I strive to ensure that all the unnecessary jargon is cut out and only the key critical points are consolidated.
