About L
With years of experience as a host, I’m particularly skilled at helping students improve their spoken Mandarin. I believe that language learning should be fun and rewarding, and I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all my students.
I’m currently a postgraduate student at the University of Queensland with 12 years of professional experience in China’s media and cultural industry. In the past, I’ve taught Mandarin to foreign colleagues and clients. These experiences have convinced me that I can help Mandarin learners from a practical and everyday perspective. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for Mandarin with you!

As a patient and engaging Mandarin tutor, my approach is to first understand the preferences and needs of each student. I then tailor my teaching methods to ensure that students gain knowledge in a relaxed and enjoyable manner, and retain what they’ve learned.
My lessons typically last one hour, but can be adjusted based on the student’s availability and learning pace. I cater to students of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced learners, and from young children to adults.
