About Ahmad Luqman
Hi, I'm a passionate percussion instructor and active performer dedicated to helping students build strong fundamentals and enjoy the learning process. My experience includes teaching marching percussion, training school bands, and performing at public events, competitions, and corporate functions. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit individual goals and abilities. Whether you're picking up drumsticks for the first time or preparing for performances and auditions, I'll guide you with patience, structured lessons, and practical techniques to help you become a confident and well-rounded percussionist.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced percussionist, my lessons are tailored to your goals and learning pace. I teach marching percussion, including snare drum, tenor, bass drum, cymbals, and drumline fundamentals, with a strong emphasis on technique, timing, musicality, and ensemble performance. Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes and are suitable for students, school bands, and adults looking to improve their skills or prepare for performances, competitions, and auditions. My teaching combines structured exercises with practical playing to build confidence, discipline, and performance-ready musicians.
I have several years of experience in marching percussion performance and instruction, working with school bands, drumlines, and performance ensembles. My teaching is based on practical performance experience, helping students develop strong fundamentals and confidence. Lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced players, primary and secondary school students, university students, school bands, marching bands, and adults who want to learn or improve their percussion skills.
