About Lydia
I am a dedicated medical student with a strong academic background and experience preparing for and succeeding on challenging standardized exams. I understand the importance of not only knowing the material but also developing the strategies, confidence, and problem-solving skills needed to perform well under pressure.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. I take the time to understand each student's unique learning style and tailor lessons to their individual goals, whether they are building foundational skills, improving weak areas, or aiming for a higher score.
I bring a patient, organized, and encouraging approach to tutoring. I focus on helping students become independent learners by teaching them how to think through problems, manage their time effectively, and approach challenging questions with confidence. I am committed to helping students reach their academic goals while making the SAT preparation process more manageable and rewarding.
