About Alisha
My lessons are personalized for middle school students who need extra support with reading comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, decoding, and written responses. I begin by identifying the specific skills that are getting in the way, then I build lessons around those needs instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.
With 15 years of experience in education and literacy support, I bring a structured, professional approach to every session. Parents can expect clear communication, thoughtful planning, and instruction that is aligned to their child’s needs. I monitor progress, adjust lessons when needed, and make sure families understand what we are working on and why.
My goal is to help students strengthen their reading skills, understand grade-level texts more confidently, and feel successful while they learn.
