About Ennox

Exploring music creatively is at the heart of learning guitar, and I strive to make each lesson a journey of discovery. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I combine academic knowledge, performance experience, and teaching expertise to guide students. Lessons begin with fundamentals such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, then progress to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is introduced practically, making it easy to apply to songs and exercises. Each lesson is personalised to the student’s pace, goals, and style, creating a motivating and supportive environment. I emphasise technical skill, expressive playing, and artistic creativity, helping students communicate emotion through music. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises develop well-rounded musicianship. Students explore multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, expanding their musical understanding. I provide structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and guidance for overcoming challenges. Milestones are celebrated to maintain motivation and confidence. Creativity, improvisation, and composition are encouraged to help students develop their personal musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, technique, and fun to ensure effective learning. Over time, students develop proficiency, artistic expression, and performance confidence. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and creative growth. My ultimate goal is to help students play with skill, emotion, and authenticity. Each lesson is an opportunity to cultivate artistry, passion, and lifelong musicianship.

About the lesson

With years of teaching and performing behind me, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how music transforms people. My Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music have equipped me with both technical knowledge and creative perspective. I teach guitar through a mix of structured technique and expressive freedom. My lessons are designed to build strong foundations while keeping learning exciting. I emphasise rhythm, tone, and coordination, but also individuality and emotional connection. Each student learns differently, so I customise lessons around their strengths and ambitions. I integrate music theory seamlessly, connecting it to real-world playing. My teaching style is positive and supportive—I believe encouragement builds confidence faster than criticism. Students who learn with me not only improve their playing but also develop creativity and musical insight. I encourage exploration across genres and styles. Watching my students evolve into confident, expressive guitarists is what keeps me passionate about teaching every day.
