About Gayla
I am a seasoned academic counselor and English teacher from North Carolina. I am currently in my 29th year as a public educator. My experience and expertise make me a particularly effective one-on-one tutor. My interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with teens, and content area knowledge will make my time working with students highly productive. Most importantly, I am a mother of 2 young adult sons. They are both academically strong and successful students and have been admitted to and attended nationally-ranked universities.
