About Emma
As a linguist and having lived and worked abroad on multiple occasions, I understand the importance of mastering a foreign language, especially English and Business English...languages are quite simply my passion and I love to help others achieve their goals.

I am a strong believer that lessons should interactive, fun and engaging. The student is always at the centre of the lesson, with lessons going at a suitable pace. After an initial determination of the student's language level, end objectives and learning style (Visual, Audio, Kinetic), I will prepare - and adapt when necessary - tailored grammar exercises and vocabulary work. Lessons will cover all four essential skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
I elicit answers to exercises from students with realia, role-playing and podcasts. All lessons will be taught in French to create a full-immersion experience; Studies have proven this to rapidly accelerate students' language-learning progress! My teaching methodology remains very flexible and is tailored to students individually.

Emma is very welcoming and friendly, always making others comfortable in her presence. Her greatest strength is her passion for language and supporting others on their language journey. Emma has helped me with French practice in the past, and was very patient and supportive when my pronunciation was questionable. This was particularly important to me as I was fearful and embarrassed about speaking another language, but Emma put me at ease and wasn't judgemental.
