About Didem
I am a native German speaker with over four years of tutoring experience, specializing in both German and English instruction. Born and raised in Germany, my tutoring career began at a tutoring school in Duisburg, where I helped students of various ages enhance their language skills.
With a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from Bochum (Germany), and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management (UK), my academic background has equipped me with the ability to teach complex topics in a clear and engaging way in both languages.

I base my lessons on my students’ current language level, ensuring that every session is designed to meet their personal goals and needs. Whether you are an adult learner looking to improve your conversational German or a student needing support for school exams, I will work with you to develop a bespoke learning plan. My lessons cover all four essential skills—speaking, writing, reading, and listening—using a variety of teaching techniques to make sure every aspect of language learning is covered. One session will typically last for an hour to 90 minutes depending on the need of each student.
While I primarily focus on teaching adults, I also have extensive experience working with younger students, helping them excel in their school-level German classes. My passion for teaching and commitment to my students’ progress is reflected in my flexible approach and tailored lesson plans that ensure visible improvement.
