I first met Gilda 5 years ago at an evening college. For 2 years Gilda would proceed to provide lessons, in a group environment. Combining group activities, Gilda encouraged camaraderie and a togetherness in the group.

When Gilda moved onto pastures new, I continued to receive Spanish tutoring on a one to one basis, in which Gilda has tailored lessons towards my rate of development. Gilda encourages me to think outside the box and work outside my comfort zone, and is open to teaching me a range of subjects, to improve my Spanish speaking.

Outside of lessons, I have had the opportunity to meet other students, hosted by Gilda, at Latin restaurants, which I have enjoyed. The experience allows us to further practice our Spanish, and try the different quality of foods, as recommended by Gilda.
