About Holly

Nursing was my second career for me. Before I went into Nursing, I spent a lot of time reading classic literature and writing. I also have a diploma in fashion design! Before I went to Nursing school I never would have considered myself a tutor but my teachers saw something in me and recommended me to be a peer tutor and the rest was history. I conducted chemistry and biology group tutoring and individual tutoring in math, physics and essay writing. I like to lean into my students' strengths and help you find new ways to retain information. I come prepared with tools and tips to help you learn that is individualized and focused.

About the lesson

I will teach you the fundamentals of "thinking like a nurse" in English. I will guide you through understanding multiple choice questions and finding the most correct answer! I will provide you with useful visual templates for pathology and pharmacology. Tie your subjects together for faster conceptualization. Mock tests for NCLEX to find your weak subjects to streamline your learning. 10 years in stroke medicine hospital rotations. Practice your SOAPIE and your SBAR with me!
