About Tarandeep Kaur
Hey there, my name’s Tarandeep, language tutor for French, German and Spanish. One thing I’m super aware of when it comes to learning a new language is the importance of having a tutor that just gets it; someone who you can put your trust in.
From a very young age, I was fascinated by European culture. The relaxed, somber pace in Spain was a huge contrast to the efficiency of the German way of life. And the – sort of – romanticism of French living, well, that made quite an impression on me too.
I’d read books about these places; I’d study them and I’d go on as many school trips as I possibly could. All of that whetted my appetite, but it wasn’t until I started learning the languages that I really started to understand what it meant to be French or German or Spanish. It was only was I started speaking their lingo that I could get inside their heads, or I suppose they got inside mine, and that just opened up a new world for me.
The ability to converse with people on a deeper level, on their own level, has changed my life. Being multi-lingual has allowed me to live in cities around Europe without feeling like a tourist, it’s helped me make friendships that I’ll cherish forever and I’ve landed incredible job opportunities that wouldn’t have otherwise been available to me.
Yes, I’ve helped my students get top marks in the GCSEs, A-levels and entrance exams. But, to me learning a language is so much more than just a grade. It’s a skill that will serve you for life and I would love to be the one to help you cultivate that skill.

Lessons take place on Zoom and last one hour. My priority is to make sure my students have a great time while making excellent progress towards their language goals. Lessons will be divided amongst the four key skills areas, listening, writing, reading and speaking according to your language goals.
