I deliver tailor-made lessons (typically 1-1.5hours) to ease students' individual challenges with English. I can help by:
- organising revision strategies in the build-up to exams
- giving feedback to essays to develop confident writing
- simplifying tricky texts and explaining unfamiliar contexts
- outlining simple and effective exam techniques
- proofreading extended essays.
I'm a passionate educator with seven years of experience in one-to-one tutoring and two years of experience teaching A Level English.
I hold a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford (First Class) and an MPhil in English Studies from the University of Cambridge (Distinction).
