About Adam
I received my formal training at the Conservatoire Paul Dukas in Paris, studying under Christophe Guiot, 1st violinist at the Paris Opera. After completing my 3rd cycle at this conservatory, I furthered my education with jazz courses at Conservatoire Gabriel Fauré with Johan Renard. With over 4 years of teaching experience, I have worked with children and adults, helping them achieve their musical aspirations. My involvement in various projects, including collaborations with Jason Meyer at the Philharmonie de Paris and several jazz projects (String quartet with Abel Selaocoe at Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris, Raelle at the Royal Albert Hall, etc), has enriched my teaching with practical performance insights.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND TECHNIQUES: As a trained violinist and dedicated violin teacher, my approach is tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. I combine classical techniques with improvisation skills to provide a well-rounded musical education. My lessons focus on developing strong foundational skills, such as proper posture, bowing, and other techniques, while also encouraging creativity and self-expression through improvisation. I incorporate a variety of music styles, from classical to jazz, to keep the lessons engaging and diverse. TYPICAL LENGTH OF A LESSON: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, providing ample time for warm-up exercises, technical drills, repertoire practice, and improvisational activities. For younger students or beginners, I also offer 30-minute sessions to maintain focus and enjoyment. WHO ARE MY LESSONS FOR: My lessons are designed for violinists of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, and for all ages, including children and adults. Whether you are starting your musical journey or looking to refine your skills, my lessons are structured to support your progress and enjoyment of music.

Deadly! Great first lesson, lots to learn but clear he has tons of knowledge to share and lots of ways to teach it. Was a fun experience too which is very encouraging!
