About Faizah

I’m a qualified pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree and a Master’s in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from University College Cork. With several years of academic and industry experience, I bring both theoretical knowledge and practical insight into every lesson. I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their goals—whether that’s improving exam performance, mastering challenging concepts, or building a solid foundation in biology or pharmacy-related subjects. As a tutor, I am patient, reliable, and supportive. I take the time to understand each student’s learning style and tailor my lessons accordingly. My approach is structured but flexible, with a strong focus on clarity, engagement, and measurable progress. You can count on me to provide well-prepared lessons, consistent support, and a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

About the lesson

As a passionate pharmacy graduate with a strong background in biology and pharmaceutical sciences, I believe in making complex concepts simple and relatable. My teaching style is interactive and tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and practice questions to ensure my students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.

A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes. I start by assessing the student’s current understanding, then explain topics in clear, easy-to-follow language. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and often include short quizzes or exercises to check progress and boost confidence.

I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree and a Master’s in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and I have experience teaching both secondary and university-level students. I’m familiar with Irish curricula (including Leaving Cert Biology) as well as university-level pharmacy and biological sciences.

My lessons are perfect for secondary school students preparing for exams, university students seeking extra help in pharmacy or biology-related subjects, or adult learners interested in these fields. I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel motivated and empowered to succeed.
