About Vira

My passion for piano began in childhood, captivated by its versatility and expressive range. Over ten years of teaching and performing internationally, I’ve guided students of all ages and backgrounds to develop their unique musical voice. I emphasise disciplined practice, creativity, and personal connection to music. I focus on individual learning styles, ensuring each student progresses at a comfortable pace while building confidence and technical mastery. Lessons are designed to instil both skill and passion, encouraging lifelong engagement with music. Outside the classroom, I perform, compose, and collaborate with musicians worldwide. Teaching piano is not just a profession—it’s a means of fostering artistic, emotional, and intellectual growth in every student I work with.

About the lesson

Piano lessons with me are designed to combine technical discipline with expressive artistry. Each class begins with foundational skills—hand position, finger strength, and note recognition—providing a strong technical base. From there, we explore phrasing, dynamics, and musical interpretation, encouraging students to connect emotionally with the music. Lessons are structured yet flexible, supporting both skill acquisition and personal expression. Beginners focus on rhythm, basic note reading, and simple repertoire that builds confidence and musical understanding. Intermediate students work on sight-reading, harmony, and stylistic interpretation across classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. Advanced learners explore complex pieces, improvisation, and expressive performance techniques. Ear training, theory, and memory exercises are integrated to provide a holistic musicianship experience. Every session is a balance of structure and creativity. Students learn not only to play accurately but to interpret music authentically, fostering both technical and emotional growth. By the end of each lesson, learners feel inspired, confident, and capable of translating knowledge into expressive performance.
