About Margarita

Hello! I am Margarita,professional pianist and piano teacher based in London with years of experience performing as piano accompanist and piano teacher .Music is my life’s passion, and my mission as a tutor is to help you discover the joy of playing the piano, no matter your starting point.As a working musician, I bring real-world performance insights into my teaching. I know exactly how to guide you from pressing your very first keys to playing full songs with absolute confidence.I pride myself on being incredibly patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my personality and teaching speed to suit you. Whether you are a parent looking for an engaging hobby for your child, an adult beginner fulfilling a lifelong dream, or an intermediate player wanting to break through a plateau, I am here to help you succeed in a relaxed, zero-pressure environment.

About the lesson

What a typical lesson looks like
Every lesson is split into three simple parts to keep it engaging and fun:The Warm-up (5–10 mins): Gentle finger exercises or a quick game to get your hands moving and build technique.The Main Song (30–35 mins): Working on a piece you love, whether it is a classical grade track, a pop ballad, or a jazz standard.The Extra Skill (10–15 mins): A bite-sized look at music theory, reading sheet music, or learning chords so you understand how music works.My teaching style:Tailored to you: I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" method. We only focus on the music you actually want to learn.Patience first: Learning an instrument takes time. My classes are a zero-pressure, relaxed space where making mistakes is just part of the fun.Practice plans: After every lesson, I send you a very clear, easy-to-follow summary of what to practice before our next session.Location & Flexibility:I offer interactive online lessons using a high-quality camera setup so you can see my hands clearly.If you live nearby, I am happy to travel to your home to teach you on your own instrument. We can easily discuss and agree on travel and scheduling during our first introductory chat!

My standard base hourly rate.Travel Fee: +£5 per lesson for travel to your home (strictly within 2–3 miles, subject to mutual agreement).Package Deal: 10% off when you book a block of 5 or 10 lessons. Cancellations: Please give at least 24 hours' notice .
